HTP Welding Wire

HTP offers a variety of wires for every welding need.

All HTP wires are of the highest quality available featuring

excellent cast and helix properties. The cast and helix are

very important qualities that reduce liner wear and keep

feeding problems to a minimum. Available in a wide variety

of diameters and spool sizes to fit your every welding need.

Steel Wire - All HTP Steel Welding Wire meets AWS

Specification E70S-6. This is the only wire recommended

by all auto manufacturers for repairing today’s HSLA steels.

A high quality steel wire with a minimum tensile strength of

70,000 psi. Higher silica and manganese content means this

wire will flow out better and weld through rust and paint

easier. Use .023˝ dia. for sheet metal to 3/16˝, .030˝ dia. for

16 ga to 3/8˝ and .035˝ dia. for 14 ga to 1/2˝.

Hardfacing Wire - Our Flux Cored Hardfacing Wire is a multi

purpose hardsurfacing wire that can be used in a wide range

of applications to prevent wear or to repair worn parts such as

plow shears or harrow teeth. This is a high carbon, chromium

alloy with molybdenum which produces a Rockwell “C” hard-

ness of 50. This wire provides unbelievable resistance to

severe abrasion, at the same time offering great impact resis-

tance.
